There could be several different signs of a blocked drain, but the most noticeable cases would be foul smelling, overflowing gurgling sounds which indicate water is pooling and pushing against the pipe, slow draining, or sewer overflow. What are ways to unblock a drain?
This all depends on what caused the blockage in the first place, you have natural cleaners such as boiling water, baking soda and salt, then there would be caustic cleaners followed with plungers and drain rods/snakes. The most effective for major issues is the Electric Eel or Hydro jet including CCTV Inspection once determined if tree roots or foreign objects are the issue, the next step would be excavation or pipe relining.
